Spindle and electro-spindle repair

Thanks to our in-depth know-how of precision bearings, hydrodynamic and hydrostatic film bearings, SAMECA has acquired expertise in the renovation of machine tool spindles in general and grinding machine spindles in particular.

The spindles undergo a complete overhaul in terms of condition and function, following a compulsory reconditioning procedure under instruction, used in our workshop and our partners.

The refurbishment process includes assessing the damage and estimating the cause of the spindle’s failure. If necessary, we recommend modifications and improvements to your spindle.

Renovation is then finalized with a detailed functional test procedure. A test report is enclosed with the spindle at the time of delivery.

We also offer storage of your spindles according to our specifications (hydrometry and temperature of our building) and tested regularly.
